This elegant white saree is made of a silk and modal blend. Silk is a natural fibre produced by the cocoons of silkworms. The shimmering appearance of silk is attributed to the prism-like structure of its fibres. While being smooth and soft, pure silk is also extremely durable and not slippery. Modal fabric is nature-based, made from fibres derived from wood pulp. This material is sustainable as the wood pulp used is responsibly sourced. Modal fabric has a very low environmental footprint - its production uses significantly lesser natural resources than other fibres.
